inthemix was on the ground at last weekend’s Global Gathering debut event in Melbourne, and one act that it’s been reported were a unanimous favourite were Anjunabeats outfit Above & Beyond, who had the Godskitchen stage going off from the moment they stepped up to the decks.

One of ITM’s key photographic contributors Scootie got the chance to join Jono and Tony onstage throughout their set, and we’ve put together a special featured gallery of the pics. It really does paint a very vivid picture of the extreme weather conditions that punters at Global Gathering faced throughout the day!

To quote an overused saying, the party had to go on, ‘rail, hail or shine’. Last weekend Melbourne’s dance fans faced two out of those three elements… we’ll let you guess which ones.
