If the news this year of Sensation’s debut in Melbourne wasn’t exciting enough, trance fans around the country collectively wet themselves when it was exclusively revealed on ITM last month that promoter ID&T’s renowned Trance Energy event would be venturing outside of Holland for the very first time in Easter 2009, with dates across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. For those frothing in anticipation of what’s set to be one of next year’s biggest events, presales are exclusively available on ITM!
Trance Energy will be touching down in Melbourne for the very first time on Friday 10th April at Melbourne Showground. And it’s the event that trance fans from around the globe dream about at night – featuring performances from some of the genre’s biggest names, the lineup represents just one part of the overall package as promoters ID&T are famous for employing some of the most cutting-edge production, lasers and special effects seen anywhere in the world. We’ve got little doubt Trance Energy will be one of the most spectacular events on the dance music calendar in 2009.

melb showgrounds? has there ever been a festival there over night? coz if this is during the day... we'll have to wait till the last couple of hours to experience the lasers etc. still very much looking forward to it!!

I'm pretty sure it should be a night event seeing that its on a Friday. People would still have other commitments during the day. This is going to be Epic! roll on 2009 :)

Its on Good Friday guys starting @ 8pm so its a public holiday for all (Melbourne Event) .... which means we get Monday off too for the long weekend!!! WOOO HOOO!!!
