2008 has been a mammoth year for inthemix Queensland. With three of the state’s DJs making the top 5 for the Sony inthemix50 and an ever growing list of subscribers, ITM Queensland want to celebrate the successful year that was! In true party fashion, ITM Queensland is going back to back with Family Nightclub for inthemiXmas 08! Come Saturday 13th December, all the residents of Family will be playing back to back across its gour-level musical vista.

With Habebe and Chris Wilson smashing apart the Basement, Golden Sound in the Ice Bar and ITM’s very own favourites Scott Walker and mag00 in Uncle (check out the ITM feature interview), this is one night that will see the coming of dawn. inthemiXmas 08 will be especially concentrated in Uncle, with the lovely Ash O’Shea attending to our beverage requirements at the bar all night and Scott Walker and mag00 providing the tunes on the decks from 11pm-1am.

In anticipation of this exciting event on the ITM calendar, Scott Walker says to “expect lots of Christmas carols and bad presents for everyone! As ITM parties have people that like all different genres, we will be trying to keep everyone happy and on the dancefloor by making sure there’s a good injection of funk in whatever we play on the night. We will be keeping the music fun to tap into that silly season vibe!” If you’re really lucky, Santa may also pay a little visit with drink specials and a few gifts to celebrate the season.
