The thought alone of Armin playing alongside Ferry was enough to get dance fans worked up, there was plenty more to get excited about at the party that saw nearly as many people flocking interstate as they did to Melbourne for Sensation – it’s the Gold Coast’s Summafieldayze, of course. While the Dutch masters may not have ended up going back to back as had been speculated, their presence enough was cause for celebration. Check out the photos on ITM!

A joint venture between promoters Fuzzy and Future Entertainment that sees them drawing together the lineup from both of their respective Field Day and Summadayze New Years Day events, this year’s party was a particularly massive occasion. Sporting a ridiculous amount of international talent across multiple stages, it boasted a particularly massive drawcard in the form of world #1 DJ Armin van Buuren. And in spite of a few technical difficulties during tyDi’s closing set, from all reports Summafieldayze managed to live up the the sky-high reputations.

Check out ITM’s Summafieldayze Festival Page for heaps more news, interviews and DJ mixes, and stay tuned to ITM for plenty more post-event coverage.

Still devo about that. 3mins standing on stage together dropping 'Exhale' would've been enough for me. Good times still

had a top time at summerfieldayze, would haved loved to see Ferry and Armin play back to back, even for 30 mins. Thought it was going to happen when Ferry started to drop a lot of his own tracks with still over an hour to go. Only downside to Ferrie's set
