Having been based in Sydney for the past few years, noted UK producer Mark Pritchard is gearing up for the release of his latest studio opus next month, with the wraps about to come off his next album under the Harmonic 313 moniker.
Pritchard is one of the most respected producers in modern electronic music, having put out countless albums, tracks and remixes under a swathe of pseudonyms since the early ‘90s, including Troubleman, Jedi Knights and Global Communication.
His new Harmonic 313 album is titled When Machines Exceed Human Intelligence, and it will see the light of day on February 28th through Warp Records. Over the coming weeks you’ll be able to see Mark launch it at various club and festival shows.
Wondering what to expect from the LP? “This album has a direct link to Detroit techno and UK bassline music from the last 20 years or more,” says Pritchard himself. “It still has a hip hop flavour but has a more 80s electronic palette with the sounds.”
