There’s been plenty of debate out there about the quality of the 2009 V Festival line-up, and unfortunately the latest round of acts won’t do anything to silence the complaints of dance fans..!

Leading the second round are ska godfathers Madness and synth-pop trendsetters The Human League, who’ll be performing seminal 1981 album Dare in its entirety. The Kills have also joined the line-up, alongside France’s M83, Jenny Lewis, Jackson Jackson and Howling Bells. Beefing up the local contingent are Wolf & Cub and Children Collide.
