For the last couple of years the Easter Long Weekend has been relatively quiet holiday period for dance music lovers, but this is all set to change in 2009. We’re already getting treated to the debut of the massive Trance Energy brand on our shores, but as it turns out there’ll be plenty more to keep us happy from Good Friday through to Easter Monday. Believe it or not, the amazing foursome of Nick Warren, Satoshi Tomiie, Darren Emerson and Marc Romboy will all be touring the country separately during the period!
All four DJ/producers massive names in progressive, techno and house, and all four of will also have a new release to pimp out to the punters while they’re in the country. Melodic progressive guru Nick Warren late last year released his acclaimed eighth compilation for the Global Underground crew, and Underwater Records chief Darren Emerson will be following his lead with the next installment to be released shortly. Satoshi Tomiie will be supporting his recent mix for Renaissance, while Marc Romboy on the other hand will be hitting the Australian clubs for the first time since the release of his sophomore album Connected last year.
