The Good Vibrations tour kicks off this weekend with massive events in Sydney and Melbourne. ITMers have been amped all week at the thought of catching Deadmau5, Fatboy Slim, Q-Tip, Stanton Warriors and more. However, there’s been a rising cause for concern as the weekend draws near – the weather! Melbourne, of course, has been suffering under the oppression of roasting temperatures, while Sydney has been shivering in the face of winter gales and bucketing rain.
For the Sydney leg of Sydney Good Vibrations the news is looking a little dire, with the morning, afternoon and evening characterised by showers, showers and more showers! That’s right kiddies, heavy rain is forecast for Saturday and the temperatures won’t climb any higher than 21 degrees. So rug up, grab your poncho and prepare for some water sports. Melbourne on the other hand can look forward to beautifully moderate temperatures, with a maximum of 28 degrees and sunny conditions throughout the day, along with a few afternoon clouds to give you a nice shady break from all those rays you’ve been catching throughout the day.
Is this Melbourne’s revenge for the shocking Antarctic weather conditions they suffered at Global Gathering last year? Good luck this weekend y’all… whatever city you inhabit!
