Early in February the Playground Weekender festival hit Wiseman’s Ferry just outside of Sydney, with thousands of campers convening – in fancy dress, no less! – on the riverside location for three days of music and partying, all under the hot summer sun. inthemix.tv was on hand at Playground with our brand new host Ally P to capture all the action live. In fact we shot so much footage we had to spread it across two clips… there was no way we could fit it all into one!

Featuring Lyrics Born, Nic Fanciulli, Ewan Pearson, Crazy P, Grafton Primary and more, Playground is one of the country’s most unique events, and its inimitable vibe was recognised at the inaugural Australian Festival Awards in 2008 where it won Best Crowd & Atmosphere.
