Entries for inthemix’s Future Music Festival DJ Comp closed on Sunday February 18th, and we couldn’t have predicted what an overwhelming response we’d have. Just under 500 hopeful DJs nationwide entered their mix, and after much debate and discussion here at ITM HQ we’ve managed to whittle them down to the top 25 finalists.

It’s now up to you to let us know who you think deserves to win! The triumphant DJ will receive return flights to Brisbane for them and a friend, two nights hotel accommodation, VIP passes to the Future Music Festival, and most importantly the opportunity to play the opening set at Brisbane event on Saturday March 7th at Doomben Racecourse.

Follow the links below to check out individual finalist mixes, and if you like what you hear you can vote for your own chance to win. We’ve got a double pass to each date of the Future Music Festival to giveaway, so if you fancy a free ride be sure to get in there and vote for the DJ you feel deserves the honour!

I would, except I don't have enough money for CDJs, and dont have my music collection on vinyl, so that would mean spending tens of thousands of dollars on vinyl. My traktor console cost $300, but CDJs would be close to $3000 for a good setup. I'm in grad
