Who would have predicted that Adelaide native Sia would become one of dance music’s most in-demand vocalists? She’s been remixed by artists like Tom Neville, Lifelike, Chris Lake and CSS, and received props from everyone from Katy Perry to Kanye West. And let’s not forget the particular fondness that’s developed for her among some of the world’s top tech-trance talent including Sander van Doorn, John O’Callaghan and in particular Future Music Festival headliner Markus Schulz, who sang her praises in a recent interview with ITM.

What’s even more surprising is that, with three albums already completed and her soulful, unmistakable voice turning heads right around the world, she’s yet to embark on her debut Australian tour. Well that’s about to change, with Sia playing dates across the East Coast during March to promote a limited edition two-CD release of her Some People Have Real Problems album.

Sia tour dates:

March 25th – The Metro, Sydney
March 27th – MTV Music Awards, Sydney
March 29th – Corner Hotel, Melbourne
March 31st – The Gov, Adelaide

I wouldn't be going along to her thinking you're going to hear dance music. The originals of tracks like Buttons and The Girl you Lost are nothing like the anthem-style remixes!

no brisbane date make me very sad, both her albums are stunning!

I understand her wanting to do a live show of the original version but I think she would be absolutely incredible also doing live PA club shows of her remixes!

I've listened to her albums countless times.... now finally getting to hear her sing in person = wow!

original versions, live versions of club remixes, songs invented on the spot....I'll listen to it all if it's Sia behind the mic :)
