In news that’s likely to take everybody by surprise, the world’s #1 DJ Armin van Buuren has been confirmed to play at the Sydney leg of the We Love Sounds festival this June! It’s the second confirmed date for the Dutch trance powerhouse’s Australian tour, and it will be his exclusive Sydney performance, playing an extended set in his own ‘Armin Only’ arena.
That’s not all, as we’ve got the scoop on several other names who’ll be swooping down to Australia in June for the country’s most popular winter festival. US house heavyweight Armand Van Helden has been confirmed, while We Love Sounds regular James Zabiela will also be returning on the back of his acclaimed new Renaissance compilation. He’ll also bring with him a brand new ‘exclusive’ light show that’s yet to be seen in action.
Finally, we’ll also get one of the fastest rising stars in house music, Laidback Luke, who’s been consistently releasing dancefloor bombs on Roger Sanchez’s imprint Stealth Records and has been responsible for the ridiculously large anthem with his pal Steve Angello in the form of Be.
Stay tuned to ITM for all the latest details on the We Love Sound national tour as they’re revealed, as well as Armin’s remaining dates around the country.
