After 10 years of weekly events at the iconic Greenwood Hotel in North Sydney, Australia’s longest running recovery party Sounds on Sunday is saying goodbye… To regular events anyway!

Their Sounds on Easter Sunday party will be the last in its current format, and moving into the future the venue will host one off and special events only. To see Sounds on Sunday off in style this easter be sure to get your tickets. DJs at the party include The Aston Shuffle, Goodwill, Tommy Trash, John Course and another 22 names performing over 4 arenas.

Having undergone some changes to the music policy and management in recent years, it’s a sad day that we’ll no longer have the club to end your weekend in style. But, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, so be sure to get your booty along and see Sounds on Sunday off with a bang.

Fuzzy's revised format certainly didn't last too long. Perhaps a sign of the current economic climate or the commercial Sydney clubbers taste in music. Is electro house finally on the outer?

Too bad the guys running it are complete and utter rude assholes - yes, that's you mike kerry and andy wilmott. Sounds back in 2004/5/6 was awesome. Now it's just a has been party with a shitty crowd and generally average music.

i agree that sounds is no where near as good as it use to be.. and it probably is when they took trance out that it started going down hill.. i remember when they use to get internationals to headline and i could get my house, breaks and trance fix all in

Frankly I'm not surprised to see it go. I was wondering how much longer it would last after Sounds Group left.

Went there on the weekend, must have been 20 people there at around 6ish. Not like the old days when the place would have been rammed by then. They should bring back the old format, trance in the chapel, house outside, breaks inside and a bit of funk thro

electro house doesn't offer anything special musically, 1 2 3 4 ... repeat, no synchopation, suprises or twists, nothing that makes awesome trax like in the music of labels like pryda, pacha, defected, cr2 the list goes on... of course there are exception

Was a regular around 5-6 years ago... can't vouch for any comments about it going downhill as it was still good when I stopped going regularly. Have been away for 3.5 years travelling the world and all I can say is my heart sank when I read this. Probably
