March was a record breaking month for inthemix; we smashed through a new barrier in overall traffic attracting a whopping 411,775 unique browsers (individual visitors – Nielsen Online, Market Intelligence, Total Traffic, March 2009) throughout the month. Once again, we’d like to thank each and every one of you for helping to make us Australia’s biggest dance music website!

It was also a massive month for news on inthemix with the festival season drawing to its inevitable close. Topping the list as the most read item was the revelation that Good Vibrations headliner Fatboy Slim had checked himself into rehab upon returning to the UK after the festival. Also, proving that even though summer has left us we’re still completely mad about festivals, We Love Sounds, Trance Energy, Winter Sound System, V Festival, Future Music and Splendour In The Grass all grabbed top spots.

Not surprisingly, there are also a few of those stories that made you sit back and think ‘what the?’ appearing in the most read list, namely Steve Angello’s bust up with Paris Hilton, as well as a few rather bizarre drug related pieces, including the US military’s trial of ecstasy to treat post traumatic stress, and a WA festival trialling drug disposal bins at their event.
