With everyone’s favourite winter dance music festival only a week away, ITM is pleased to give you the low down on who’s playing where and when at We Love Ministry of Sounds.

One surprise that has come to light is the non-availability of alcohol after 2am. In what seems to be further reactions to anti-social behaviour in Perth entertainment districts, only soft drink and water will be served. The festival’s organisers have spoken out on the licensing restrictions.

“In line with current licensing regulations in Western Australia at each of the events venues We Love Ministry of Sound 2009 is operating the following times:

Capitol: 8:00pm -4:00am
Metro: 8:00pm-2:00am

Full bar service will finish at 2:00am. Water, energy and soft drink will continue until close at Capitol. This is not a matter we have any control over. To ensure you receive the full experience we have organised for We Love Ministry of Sound to kick off at the earlier time of 8pm.”

In measures to combat the huge line and entry problems of last year, WLMOS organisers have also separated ticket sellers into 2 separate entrances:

“General Entry customers who already have a ticket in hand will need to queue in the General Admission line for entry to the event at each venue. You will receive a wristband after presenting your ticket to staff on entry. Once you have your wristband you may access each venue of the event. Moshtix & Inthemix customers purchasing tickets online must validate their ticket/s at Capitol where you will be given your wristband. Ticket validation will be at the Amplifier side alley entrance. Once validated customers may gain entry to all venues via the general entrances.”

For those who haven’t sorted their tickets yet, organisers says there there will be a small amount of door sales available for those last minute buyers.
