All those sold-out shows have taken their toll on The Presets’ vocalist Julian Hamilton. The duo has been forced to reschedule its Wollongong and Newcastle dates this week, due to the strain on Hamilton’s voice. The problem came to a head at their Canberra stop last night.

“At the AIS Centre in Canberra it became apparent that singer Julian Hamilton’s voice was giving way,” a statement released today detailed.. “On doctor’s orders it’s been advised that Julian rest completely for the next 72 hours.”

Tonight’s show in Wollongong has been moved to Wednesday 3 June, while the Friday 29 May show in Newcastle is rescheduled for Thursday 4 June. There’s no word as yet on whether The Presets’ three-night stand at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion this weekend will be threatened.

Good vibes was a joke. The backing track wasn't playing for half the set
