Bass Kleph’s Vacation Records empire has been growing rapidly over its two years on the scene, amassing a catalogue of cutting edge dance tracks that regularly get attention from some of Australia and the world’s most respected dance music identities. Featuring more often than not in the Beatport top downloads chart and on Australia’s own ARIA Club Chart, the Vacation posse are proving to the world that there really is something in the water down here.

We’ve teamed up with our buddies at Vacation to give one shit-hot inthemix graphic designer a ridiculously cool opportunity to further their career; the Vacation Records design contract for the next 12 months! As the Vacation Records designer you’ll put together the cover art for their schedule of releases, including 12” and singles, as well as their annual Wish You Were Here mix CD series. Just in case you were wondering it’s a paid contract too, so you’ll be continuing to work towards building your own design business.

All the details of the project are below, so if you’re keen to take part be sure to read them over (closely – you’ve got to follow the brief!) and get your submission in before the closing date of Wednesday June 17th. To be in with a chance you’ll need to mock-up your own cover for their Wish You Were Here 2009 mix CD by fRew, due for release in July. The entries will be judged by representatives from Vacation and inthemix, with the top submission to be offered the contract.
