When Ryan from Melbourne streaked onto the field of Melbourne’s hallowed MCG during the Essendon vs Richmond match a few weeks ago, the questions was no longer what people would do to win a trip to Holland to attend the Defqon.1 Festival – it was what wouldn’t they do to win the prize. But while inthemix has seen some impressive entries into the ‘Defqon.1 Maximum Exposure Competition’, none were quite able to match Ryan’s spectacular effort. He was called yesterday with the news that he’ll be flying out with a mate to attend the festival in Holland later this month…

The streaker in question stormed the field during the Essendon vs Richmond match in late May, wearing a Q-dance t-shirt and brandishing a white sheet trailing behind him emblazoned with the Defqon.1 logo, dropping his pants and bolting around the field before being crash-tackled by security. His escapades were witnessed not only by the people at the game, but they were also viewed thousands of times on YouTube, as well as racking up appearances in Melbourne’s MX daily newspaper, the Herald Sun, The Age as well as the Footy Show and Thursday Night Live on commercial TV. Dear Defqon.1 streaker… ITM salutes you!
