The world’s #1 DJ is in the country. Last night trance superstar Armin van Buuren swept down on Brisbane for an exclusive club show at The Met, the first of the shows for his June Long Weekend tour, and ITM’s trusty snappers were there to capture all then action. Armin’s twitter update at 6.30am this morning said it all. “Just had a rocking gig in Brisbane!! Crowd here is insane!! Woohoo!!” From all reports, this enthusiasm was reflected in the response that he got from the Brisbane crowd who were packed into The Met to see him, going nuts everytime he gestured or even looked up from the decks. He delivered a four-hour set of his trademark top-shelf trance and progressive, and we’ve been told the rest of the country has something to look forward to indeed.
