So you think you’ve had you fill of partying after the June Long Weekend? It’s already time to start thinking about what you’ll be up to over the summer, as Hardware and Onelove have spilt the beans on when we’ll be seeing the Stereosonic festival return to Australia later this year! Set for late November and early December, once again it’ll be a five-date affair that travels to all the major cities, with Sydney being treated to the full festival experience for the first time.
While details are scant so far on who will be headlining the festival (beyond the industry whispers the tour will be boasting a massive lineup in 2009), ITM can exclusively reveal that Italian noise merchants the Bloody Beetroots will be returning for another run of Australian shows following their ‘Outrage’ tour later this month, which has already proved hugely successful in terms of tickets sales.
We’re in for a bit of a wait for further details as they won’t be released until August, with tickets on sale later that month, but keep your eyes peeled to ITM as we’ll be bringing you the information as soon as we can get out hands on it.
Stereosonic national tour dates:
Sat 28th November – Sydney
Sun 29th November – Perth
Sat 5th December – Adelaide
Sat 5th December – Melbourne
Sun 6th December – Brisbane
