It was the eye opening event of an incredible Quantum Relic in 2008 that led to the techno coming of the Jack’d experience. First there was highly successful Jack’d – The Boat Cruise with techno sounds raging across the Brisbane River. Now taking it up a notch this coming Saturday evening, there will be Jack’d – the club night at Barsoma. Having developed a highly refined taste for techno and glitchy minimal, DJs Chappo and Dan Gavel are set to scorch Barsoma’s massive sound system with a night of banging beats and uncompromising sounds.

Having invited Japanese techno wiz and local favourite Kazu Kimura to headline the event, and Romel Johan fresh from a European jaunt to take the night through, this is one evening for all techno lovers. With Aaron Blishen warming up the decks for the headliners and the essential techno presence of a b2b closing set with Scott Walker v Magoo, the very first Jack’d club night will spell out a special night for Brisbane’s local techno scene.
