Rumours had started to swirl around the return of one of the world’s most popular and in-demand DJ/producers. ITM can now confirm that we can indeed look forward to another gargantuan tour from Tiesto, with the Dutch trance powerhouse locked in to return for an arena tour in the opening months of 2010!

Hardware Corporation and Totem are currently busy planning the next edition of the Stereosonic festival for later in the year (check here for dates and details), but they’ve decided that the time is right to go public about the next keenly-awaited tour from Tiesto. The organisers have told inthemix that they hope to deliver the full announcement within the next two weeks, with tickets on sale soon after. All signs point towards the tour being bigger than anything we’ve ever seen before in Australia from Tiesto…

There’s certainly a huge demand for the talents of Tiesto, as was evidenced by the stupendous response the announcement that his ‘Elements of Life’ tour received last February when it hit ITM. When the show eventually reached our shores in late April the smiling Dutchman played four massive sold-out shows in Melbourne and two in Sydney, as well as another pair of absolutely cranking club gigs in Brisbane. Will we get something this time to match Tiesto’s legendary large-scale arena shows in the US? Only time will tell, but we can expect this one to be BIG…
