As revealed on inthemix a few weeks ago, there was certainly no shortage of top-class design talent up to the task of covering all of Bass Kleph’s Vacation Records label artwork for the next 12 months. We had whittled the submissions down to the 10 best, and now the Vacation crew have emerged from the jury room with their favourite. inthemix congratulates Thomas Coleman of the Gold Coast!

“There were many great entries and it was a very difficult and close decision to pick the winner,” Bass Kleph told inthemix. “In the end, it was the clean, fresh and inviting look of Thomas’ design that did it for us. The colours, balance and scene set the feeling for Wish You Were Here, the strange alien speaker flowers, and star filled sky give it a nice quirky twist, and the simple logo and text placement rounds it out.”
