This year we’re once again doing a special series of inthemix podcast sessions to coincide with the Sony inthemix50, but in 2009 we’re doing things a little differently. Over the next few weeks we’ll be showcasing the talent of Australia’s fast rising producer scene, with four genre specific episodes.

The first episode is entirely dedicated to the sounds of Australian trance and progressive. Check it out for tracks from Tydi, Mike Nichol, Bexta, Dr Willis, Trent McDermott, Matt Rowan and Phonatics. And, if you like what you hear remember to cast your vote, your favourite dance scene identities are counting on your support!

Keep your ear to the ground for the following three episodes, coming over the next few weeks. There’ll be one for the electro and fidget fans, another for house heads, and a tech house and techno episode to finish things up in style.

I'm on the Jaytech cause as well. He is hands down the best producer.

jaytech is signed to anjunabeats, and unfortunately they dont allow their music to be used in podcasts (other than their own). believe me, i'd have liked to include him in there!
