Following from last week’s news that Modular would be bringing back its in-house summer festival, Nevereverland (read about it here), for another round of merrymaking, the local electro tycoons have now announced the return of their other crown jewel, the Leave Them All Behind compilation.

Leave Them All Behind III returns on August 7th (pre-order link here ) after a two-year hiatus, but from the looks of things, Modular hasn’t missed a step, clenching their grip on the mantle as masters of the latest and greatest sounds around. Spread across the compilation’s two discs (one mixed and one unmixed) are exclusive tracks from current heavy-hitters such as Ladyhawke, MGMT, The Presets, Aeroplane, Simian Mobile Disco, Optimo and Tiga, so you know it’ll be dancefloor friendly.

Better still is the news that Modular will be launching the compilation with a Leave Them All Behind national tour. Instead of heaping a slew dates on the one DJ, Modular have lined up a selection of local DJs to spread the love including Ajax, Bag Raiders, Doom & Hoodrat, Van She Tech, Andee Frost, Knightlife, and Anna Lunoe. Sounds immense, doesn’t it?

Leave Them All Behind III is out through Modular and Universal on August 7th, check the full tour dates below:

Wed Aug 5th – The Eastern, Sydney (Bag Raiders)
Fri Aug 7th – Caringbah Bizzo’s, Sydney (Doom)
