Set within the picturesque Glenworth Valley, the Peats Ridge Festival will usher in 2010 with a perfectly-suited line-up of talent for those who might want something a little bit different for their New Years shenanigans. It’s the first major event in Australia to run completely on renewable energy, and it makes great use of the natural setting. With ten stages running across three days, there are no shortage of musical must-sees.
Headlining this edition is beguiling songstress Sarah Blasko, Perth sensations The Panics and the travelling troubadour Liam Finn. There’s also plenty to excite fans of leftfield electronica, with acts like deepchild, The Bird, Spoonbill, Mark Pritchard and many more also set to play.
Peats Ridge prides itself on an intimate atmosphere, so tickets are limited. First and second release has already sold out, with the final batch now on sale. We recommend you move quickly.
Peats Ridge Festival happens from December 29 2009 to January 1 2010 at Glenworth Valley, an hour’s drive from Sydney:
