There was never any doubt that the Good Vibrations Festival would be back for another run in 2010, but we’ve now got the proof with the announcement of the dates and venues of where the party will be touching down next February. Returning to the beautiful grounds of Centennial Park in Sydney, the Parklands Showgrounds on the Gold Coast and Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, this year they’ll be inhabiting a new space in Perth’s Claremont Showgrounds.

Last year Good Vibrations accommodated more than 110,000 people with a sellout tour across the country, and this year is set to be just as big. We’ve been told we’ll have to wait a little while longer for lineup announcements. But for those extra keen there’s a limited number of presales available for Jam Music Members from Friday.

Good Vibrations Festival 2010:

Saturday 13 February – Centennial Park, Sydney
Sunday 14 February – Claremont Showground, Perth
Saturday 20 February – Parklands Showgrounds, Gold Coast
Sunday 21 February – The Nursery, Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne

it's not uncommon for festivals to sell tickets before the lineup is announced.. most of the major festivals in the UK do it... some people can enjoy themselves no matter who is playing

Wow, surprised Jam Music actually have some idea what they are doing next year, although having half of their dates on a Sunday doesn't surprise me. Last year's was the worst festival I have been to.

anyone who has every been to good vibes and not on drugs has said its the worst festival ever. Theyve been doing it for years, the first 2 maybe I understand the kinks that need to be ironed out but now its inexcusable. They will have a big headliner agai

Paying $140 for a presale without knowing whose playing is mad. Imagine if they booked Fatboy Slim to play again.

THE BEST FESTIVAL ON THE CALENDAR. never too early to get in, they always have the best and most varied line-up. plus the friendliest crowds. i'm in.

DEFINATELY THE BEST FESTIVAL ON THE CALENDAR!! The most diverse festival. always really enjoyable. I think people using last years rain as an excuse is pretty lame. Who the FK can control the rain.

Every photo you see of advertising for good vibs is six 18 year old girls in cozzie tops, demin shorts bloooonde hair & too much fake tan - is that all this festival is about... ??? Oh it's also about terrible sound... Gonna pass thi, s year....

rubyru

rubyru said on the 6th Aug, 2009

I agree - badly organised/terrible set up and Heirrison Island is just a hot shadeless dustbowl - Claremont should be better - but most discerning festival goers would like to know line up before buying tix - we get a Sunday time slot agin - SO I wont

Mr_Doobi well said and sooooo spot on... that "crowd" are spoiling the scene.. they should stick to Chapel St and their woggy nightclubs... coz they are a pain in the butt at events, got ants in their pants and cant keep still pushing through the crowd an

Last years set times was a joke! Most people I had paid to see were all on at the same time. Not to mention the shocking set up of the parklands and the main stage set in front of a storm drain.

redz81

redz81 said on the 13th Oct, 2009

Why won't they just release the damn lineup already. FMF has already realeased theirs and its later than GVF.

colinzeal81

colinzeal81 said on the 21st Oct, 2009

So having it at Claremont will only make it different from Stereosonic because it will have different acts, we really need another outdoor venue. I mean what happened to using King's Park, or the foreshore?
