WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? HERE’S THE ANNOUNCEMENT!

It’s been an agonising wait for the details of Tiesto’s hotly anticipated 2010 Australian tour, with the exact specifics on where and when we’d see the global dance icon having evaded our greasy mitts for almost two months now.

Thankfully you won’t have to wait too much longer for the info, with Tiesto’s tour promoter Hardware promising inthemix a juicy exclusive this Friday morning. Will it be cities? Will it be dates? Will it be venues? We’re hoping for all of the above! Be sure to swing back to inthemix this Friday and find out for yourself.

Tiesto’s forthcoming world tour will see him launching his brand new artist album Kaleidoscope, which has already raised a lot of interest globally thanks to an interesting array of guest stars onboard. Tiesto has managed to line up vocals from Kele Okereke of Bloc Party, Calvin Harris, Nelly Furtado and even Australia’s own Sneaky Sound System.

Can’t bloody wait? Check out this video of Tiesto live in London’s Victoria Park just a few weeks ago!

Interested to see what his sets like. Im sure (hoping) it will be prodominately trance. Seems like he's going down the road of Paul Oakenfold did with his artist album bunker. Keen to hear the new album and his set in 2010.

so true stic man! i just listened to an hour of his set from privilege that he played on club life, and in that excruciating hour was a kings of leon remix, kanye, bowie, empire of the sun etc! utter fucking tripe!! tiesto is such a fag

Come on Perth. Less excited though with the announcement of all the indie rock stuff. I like rock as well, but crossovers are generally uninspiring. If he went completely mental and decided to do some projects with some european black/doom/avante garde

What on earth is this crap!!??? Not only am i shocked but disappointed that he's decided to go 'mainstream'. I am a HUGE fan of Tiesto been following him for years and years but now im thinking its over. Im glad i went to 3 of his EOL concerts last year.

VanTRANCE

VanTRANCE said on the 13th Aug, 2009

Disappointing. Long time fan of the t-man,But i am not going to pay$100ish dollars to see 3 hours of this electro/indie shit. WHAT IS WITH all these old school trance dj's suddenly turning electro?. They should remember their roots. They would not be where

danushka said on the 14th Aug, 2009

I used to be a massive tiesto fan. still got most of the EOL and almost all his albums and singles. but right now he's nothing short of a big pile of BS. trance fans lost tieso to mainstream faggish crap when he remixed justin timberlake and britney spear

eddiemc - why are you personally wishing Tiesto good luck? It's not as if he's going to read these comments. Tiesto's very loyal and long standing fans have every right to be disappointed with his change in direction. These people are, afterall, the ones
