Love him or hate him, Steve Aoki is a pretty huge force in modern electronic music. In between throwing riotous parties around the world, the LA hipster-supremo looks after his renowned Dim Mak imprint, which counts the likes of MSTRKRFT and The Bloody Beetroots amongst its healthy stable of artists. Add to that his own productions with a cavalcade of big names like Boys Noize, Armand Van Helden and Laidback Luke and the picture becomes clear that Steve Aoki is kind of a big deal.

Recognizing just that, the savvy folk over at Future Entertainment are bringing the superstar DJ back out to Australia this October for a string of big club shows. Word from Future HQ is that Aoki’s shows will be Dim Mak branded to boot, which makes the news even more exciting as his weekly LA parties are notoriously off the wall.

The dates are still being confirmed but Aoki will be rolling around Australia and New Zealand getting hipster girls pregnant from October 15th to the 25th.

Stay tuned for the full tour dates as we get them and meanwhile get pumped up for Aoki’s arrival with some wildstyle set footage below.

More like "superstar" in his own mind. Tripe events like this typify all that is wrong with Sydney. This is sure to be full of image oriented douchebags with a half-assed soundtrack to boot. I'm calling a 'no-ball' on this one

Jacqueskallis, drop the "holier than thou" attitude. It's haters like YOU that are bad for the scene. Aoki definitely isn't my thing, but who cares... some people dig him, so let them have their fun. When's your event that encapsulates everything that's "

Wow. I wish I knew 16 years ago when I went to my first rave at the Palace in St Kilda, that EDM and parties would end up like this. I weep for the future. This is shit, Bloody Beetroots are shit and this Aoki guy makes Busy P look like a credible label b
