To say it’s been a big year for Melbourne shooting star Andy Murphy would be a rather large understatement. He hit the studio as part of the production outfit Citylife, to produce debut single San Francisco which is still sitting comfortably in the ARIA Dance Charts. He also was named the #2 DJ for 2009 in the Sony inthemix50 poll, as well as being Victoria’s #1 DJ. Onelove’s newest star also compiled the Smash Your Stereo compilation with the Bloody Beetroots and Juan Kidd and is now hitting the road in support of the ear-busting mixtape.

With the Beetroots blowing the roof off Villa just over a month ago, it’s now Murphy’s turn to fly the Onelove flag and with his newly crowned status of the vice-captain of the Australian DJ ship, there’s no doubt he’ll be chomping at the bit to show off his new title.
