With a follow-up to Dystopia set to arrive in early 2010, synthy soundscapers Midnight Juggernauts are warming the machines for a headline tour. The Melbourne trio will play a string of dates in October and November to celebrate the release of their new single This New Technology, recorded down in Melbourne and due out later this month.
It has been a whirlwind ride for the Juggers since Dystopia sent them stratospheric in 2007. They’ve proven their live clout with appearances at some of the world’s leading festivals: Glastonbury, Coachella and Primavera among them. Back home, the guys excelled in a prime slot at this year’s Splendour In The Grass, raising expectation of the new material to even more manic heights.
Making these shows even more special is inclusion of Kiwi loose cannons Cut Off Your Hands and Sydney electronic wonders Seekae along for the ride as supports. Prepare for a party.
