A long-standing institution of the Melbourne dance scene – and an event many Adelaide punters have made the eastward trek for in previous years – for the first time ever in 2010 South Australia will have its very own edition of Future Entertainment’s Summadayze. And it’s all going down on January 1st!
Summadayze in Adelaide will descend on Rymill Park, giving dance fans a musical feast to welcome in the new year on NYD 2010. The first round lineup boasts superstars like Carl Cox, Sharam of Deep Dish, Eddie Halliwell and Infected Mushroom performing live. What’s more, many more artists are still to be announced, so keep your eyes glued to ITM over the coming weeks.

Hmm, tempted. But with what's gonna look like another Stereosonic style: fly acts over for the day, I can see Adelaide's set times getting 2nd rate treatment. Not to mention missing a lot of the big acts. Melbourne it is, but hopefully spreading the acts doesn't make 2 half-assed festivals.

wonder if Carl Cox will play earlier in the day in melb if he's headlining adelaide. as melb has 2manydjs as well they can play last if carl plays during the day

good idea in theory but half of Adelaide will already be in Melb for it and Sensation...nothing beats the Sidney Myer Bowl. We get shafted enough with Stereo set times soo..yeah. Melb it is.
