It was revealed last month that Pacha would be relocating to a brand new venue this year for its annual NYE bash, taking over the glamorous surrounds of Ivy, and they’ve now lifted the lid on the first-round of acts who will be providing the tunes. Swedish House Mafioso Sebastian Ingrosso will be heading up the proceedings, as well as the tantalizing promise of a ‘very special international guest’. Whoever could it be? They’re described as “one of global dance music’s biggest stars”, if that helps at all with the guessing…
Some of the other international talent on this round includes the Dirty Bird himself Claude VonStroke, heading back after blowing away the crowds on his recent tour with the Parklife festival, as well as Riverside heavy Sidney Samson. Two of Australia’s crowned Pacha Ibiza residents DJ Mo’Funk and Johnny Gleeson will also be rocking up for the party.
As revealed last week, the venue will receive the proper ‘Pacha treatment’, using all five of Ivy’s areas (yes, the pool will be open for business for those who are rocking VIP tickets). Pacha’s famous Ibiza dancers will also be flown in especially for the party.
