Can’t wait for summer? Neither can we. Not only will it mean countless hours of cricket to digest, but the lineup of events and festivals hitting our sun drenched shores is bigger than ever. We’ve already let loose the details for Pacha’s New Years Eve takeover of Ivy with Sebastian Ingrosso and Claude VonStroke at the helm. Now news has arrived that another Ibiza party institution, Space, will be bringing its world famous party to Australia for the very first time.
Masterminded by local promoters Paul Strange Presents, the legendary Ibiza brand, Space, will kick off 2010 with a super-sized bang, taking over the Show Ring of Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter for a full-on Space experience. Sydney-siders can expect the Show Ring to be transformed for the first time into a clubber’s oasis, with all sorts of outrageous stilt walkers, dancers and acrobats reminiscent of Space’s Ibiza home, of course.
Although details of the event’s initial lineup are being kept under lock and key for now, the event is due to mark the 20th anniversary of the Ibiza uber-club, so expect plenty of heavy-hitters to celebrate in style.
