It’s not even summer yet and already us lucky Australian clubbers have been treated to an array of top-quality events with some of the biggest dance acts in the world. October in particular has been a big month already, with Parklife making its way across the nation for some electro love-ins and more recently, international mega-club brand Godskitchen dropped their super sized Boombox spectacle on eager punters, with dance heavyweights like Cosmic Gate and John ‘00’ Fleming along for the thrill ride.

Debuting with a bang in Sydney on October 2nd, the Boombox tour took over the country, with sideshow offshoots popping up in Brisbane and Perth before the larger-than-life ‘box stormed into Melbourne over the weekend. Inthemix-ers present at Hisense Arena confirmed that the Boombox lived up to the impeccable Godskitchen standards and from looking over the photos from the event, it looks like the definition of epic.

We’ve spent the afternoon drooling over the photos from the Boombox tour to put together the very best the events had to offer, so have a look at the links below for another taste of the sublime Boombox extravaganza.

'Inthemix-ers present at Hisense Arena confirmed that the Boombox lived up to the impeccable Godskitchen standards' I don't know if you read the Godskitchen thread, but most people said the Boombox was kind of a let down.

Pretty average Gods @ Hinsense, 3 main acts were a let down, especially Cosmic Gate, would have loved to heard the older stuff they do as Im sure most Cosmic fans would agree.... my Blank & Jones CD was much better than their performance, who agrees that

next time bring it to Perth (or a smaller version that would fit in the venue) ... Perth production was lame and we had to pay $20 more :(

The Boombox was amazing - but there were no lasers which was a bit of a let down. Also the music was better last yera. JOC played amazingly last year. Cosmic Gate were good for Boombox but last year was better.

Okay so Brisbane didn't have a boombox because it was a club show, but what about our pics eh?

well i had a fucking good time, and i did the double, backing up straight after parklife. for me; cosmic gate and blank and jones were off the hook, j00f was a bit of a letdown
