ARE YOU LOOKING FOR THE 2011 GOOD VIBRATIONS FESTIVAL LINEUP? LOOK NO FURTHER THAN THIS LINK!

For dance music fans it’s been a grueling lead-up to the first details of beloved summer festival Good Vibrations. The last few months have seen a host of hints and tip-offs about the epic festival’s always-big lineup tease fans starting with the news that the late DJ AM had been locked in to play the festival in 2010. This week we heard word that hyped US rapper Kid Cudi would be making the trip out for the festival, yet still hungry for more news, festival goers have been on a wild goose chase trying to decipher cryptic clues from GVF organizers Jam Music, deducing the lineup’s big stars. At last though, the wait is over, as today the Good Vibrations lineup for 2010 officially drops and as is tradition with the festival, there’re plenty of surprises in store.

Heading up the Good Vibes lineup for next year is none other than synthed-up stadium rockers The Killers, and whilst they might seem like a curveball choice for the festival, it’s just an indication of the scale of Good Vibrations. Keeping the Las Vegas lads company will be festival favourites Basement Jaxx, touching down with their new Scars album in hand, as well as globe-trotting club maestro Armand Van Helden.

Sticking to the tried and tested formula of Good Vibes, the lineup strikes a balance between a host of different genres, with hip hop fans being well represented with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Naughty By Nature and Salt-N-Pepa and dance heads getting DJs like Dave Seaman, Plump DJs and Z-Trip and indie-dance acts Friendly Fires and The Gossip.

I didnt think this years was that great but I am extremely impressed with this lineup!

Pretty pathetic. They charge a price that says 'we have the best line-up in town' and then headline it with bands that are here every other month. The old school Hip Hop is rad, but probably worth $40 at best.

Not every festival can be expected to pull out awesome headline acts like Soundwave and Laneway. Vibes is simply following the trend of all the other big 'party' festivals in 2010 (SFD, BDO, Future) by booking uninspired headline acts.

There's not usually too many side shows to go along with GV.. Loving the more indie aspects of this line up.. Exciting!!

Tired and reptitive acts, surely there was someone else apart from The Killers and Basement Jaxx we could have brought out here - they both did the festival circuit this year. This lineup is beyond average. Naughty by Nature? Please they haven't done anyt

colinzeal81

It saddens me that Good Vibes has abandoned Dub and Reggae, and Dubstep even (WHY ARE THERE NO DUBSTEP DJs PLAYING AT ANY OF THE FESTIVALS?!!!! Easily the biggest underground dance genre currently). Sly and Robbie would have been an obvious choice 5 years
