Amidst an active year fraught with curiosity and scandal after a heady launch with an appearance of Adrian Grenier of Entourage fame alongside his band The Honey Brothers to celebrate the 2009 New Year, the spectacular financial downfall of proprietor Daniel Tzvetkoff and the subsequent changeover in venue management to local industry stalwart Michael Watt, Zuri Lounge, Bar and Dining is turning a fresh face to a new year ahead. Stylish revelry and smooth tunes are promised with large crowds expected over the coming days to blow out the candle on the sumptuous Zuri cake.

It all begins on Thursday night with USA’s Grammy nominated Anthony David of the suave style and lush vocals, as well as Sydney’s DJ Somatik unleashing a funk tornado from the wheels of steel while Sydney jazz legends The Martini Club will storm the stage

Birthday carousing continues on Friday night with the highly anticipated launch of Hed Kandi. An iconic brand renown all through London, Miami, Paris, Tokyo, Dubai, Rio and Ibiza for its quality in music, fashion, style and outrageous parties, Hed Kandi will have really found its home down under amongst Zuri’s glamorous opulence. The night promises to live up to the high standards of Hed Kandi, with attention to detail in style, décor and the customary quality in music and entertainment. Hed Kandi’s very own Jack McCord will be headlining the night, alongside locals Gavin Boyd, Matt Kitshon Benn Hopkins and Kris Nixon, with the Hed Kandi Angels on hand to liven up the night with their flair and glamour.
