Rerouting and redrawing the standard of dance floor bombs – where would the Breakbeat scene be today without Lee Coombs? For over a decade Lee Coombs has been at the forefront of it all; his releases on Finger Lickin’ made people sit up and take notice and his 2004 album release Breakfast of Champions injected elements of house, electro and techno into breakbeat. It was a style Coombs would make his own, alongside fellow innovators Meat Katie, Elite Force and Dylan Rhymes.
