Sydney’s primo source of quality house music Monkey Tennis has been keeping a low profile this year, now throwing a party every couple of months but it means when they do emerge, tennis racquet in hand, you know that all the ‘heads will be out in force. This Saturday afternoon they’ll be returning to the summery surrounds of the Blacket Hotel for what’s sure to be a fabulous sunset event, and they’ll have a special guest in the form of Salted Music signing Joshua Heath.

Though he’s got a background as a classically trained Jazz musician, it was when he was completing his Masters degree in Jazz Studies that he fell in love with electronic music. His first house single You Wanna Dance? hit the dancefloors in 2005, catching the attention of house heavy Miguel Migs who snapped him up for his Salted Music imprint. It was full speed ahead from that point on, and he now holds down a residency at one of LA’s most well known house nights Balance where he plays alongside the likes of Heather, Mark Farina and more.

Joining Joshua on the terrace will be Monkey Tennis regulars Husky, Garry Todd Lummy, Broadband and heaps more.

Monkey Tennis Summer Ball returns to the Blacket Hotel this Saturday 21st November.
