The ‘heads will likely be upset by the news that Atlantic Connection, the international drum n’ bass act that was booked to headline the final DNBBQ party for 2009, will no longer be making it down under for the tour. But all you DnB crazies can wipe away those tears, because the crew from Foreign Dub have well and truly compensated with the news that they’ll be going ahead with the festivities, but instead staging a 100% free event!

That’s right, it won’t cost a thing to get in, and there’ll be two areas in the Manning Bar of pumping music. The balcony will bring a bit of an old school party vibe, with reggae, dub, dancehall, funk and hip hop, while the main room will be jungle, drum n’ bass and dubstep. The only thing you’ll have to fork out for is the gourmet BBQ, which will carry a cover charge of $5 if you want to indulge.

The early Xmas “DNBBQ” goes down at Manning Bar at Sydney University on Saturday 28th of November, going down from 7pm to 2.30am.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!
