All conquering club night, record label and brand Destination? will celebrate their 6th birthday at Villa this weekend with Finland’s fidget king Rico Tubbs there to blow out the candles. He’ll get the party started with his unique blend of fidget, house and breaks that has taken dancefloors by storm from Moscow to LA. An absolute stalwart of the Perth scene, the Destination? crew have gone from strength to strength in recent years, throwing the most regular and notoriously hedonistic parties in town and their record label with releases from AC Slater, Calvertron and hometown boys Philly Blunt and Signal Drivers just to name a few.

After absolutely rocking it on the Good Vibrations tour, Tubbs’s blend of bass-heavy party beats has seen him progress to a rising star of the dance music circuit with his releases Cheap Thrills, Top Billin and Menu Music featuring in many a DJ’s arsenal. Joining Tubbs is Queensland killer and Sony inthemix50 number 6 DJ Baby Gee. 2009 has been a massive year for the ‘Gee with weekly residencies at Family and Monastery and sets at Sensation and Summafieldayze and a recent signing to Vacation Records, the award winning DJ is bringing his big brand of house for the number one birthday party this year.
