The wraps have come off Pacha’s hotly-tipped ‘secret international’ for their NYE party at the Ivy in Sydney. Fresh from rocking the mainstage on the Stereosonic national tour, the mystery guest is of course Swedish House Mafia don Axwell!

As revealed on inthemix a little while back, Axwell will be making Sydney his home for the coming summer months, with plans to setup house in Bondi as he escapes the chilly European winter. His inclusion on the lineup for Pacha NYE comes hot on the heels of last week’s announcement of locals for the party, as well as the recent revelation that certified house legend Kenny Dope of Masters At Work would join the party.

Axwell will play the 500 square metre Ivy Room at the event alongside Sebastian Ingrosso, Goodwill and Carl Kennedy. Promoters have promised that the space will be transformed like never before, with a new sound and lighting rig installed. “The stunning surrounding of the Ivy Room, the beautiful party people, the breath taking production and world class DJ line-up will have patrons thinking they have been transported to Ibiza town to celebrate NYE in Pacha’s Ibiza main room,” boasted the press release.
