So it seems that colour-coded parties are all the rage. ‘White’ has been the recurring colour up until now, with Melbourne’s massive Sensation party drawing tens of thousands of punters clad head to toe in white for a New Years Eve event that’s particularly unforgiving on stains. Why stop at ‘white’ though, we say! It’s inspired ITM to think of the rainbow of possibilities for other colour-coded party attire.
Folk with the rare condition known as ‘synaesthesia’ actually see colours when they hear music, but with ITM’s colour-coded party playlist, everyone can take a psychedelic trip of their own. From the obvious – Prince’s purple funk – to the obscure, the weird and the just plain insulting. Without further ado… let’s get in the party mood, and let’s get colourful!
