With the new year’s recent arrival, the start of 2010 has signalled the beginning of a new decade, and with all the ‘best of’ lists floating around the boys at Destination? decided to do a little bit of a compile themselves, to reflect on the decade which saw them become a powerhouse of the Perth scene.

With tracks signed to their Destination? imprint littering Beatport charts and their club nights some of Perth’s rowdiest, the Desti crew have decided to honour that from which they came and get some of their longest serving artists back to their spiritual home of Ambar for a mighty blowout.

Performing on the night will be Signal Drivers, who are not only one of Perth’s best DJ duos but have also started to produce quality breaks, house and electro. They will be going back to their roots with a set filled with the nu-skool and booty breaks they are famous for.

Supporting them will be Perth expat Karl Sav who was nominated as a Beatport ‘Artist to Watch’ last year and is certainly one of Australia’s finest proponents of the breakbeat sound. Round out the lineup are Prizzy, Buex, Early J and Alpha Kilo Tango, all who have rocked the Desti d-floor on regular occasion.
