last weekend saw the annual pilgrimage by electronic music and alternative lifestyle fans to the outskirts of Melbourne for the infamous Rainbow Serpent Festival. For those who couldn’t attend, or want some more of the Rainbow experience, the East Brunswick Club will host the Rainbow Serpent Festival official sideshow on Friday 29th January.

Featuring live performances by Tijuana Cartel (QLD), OKA (QLD) and Ganga Giri (VIC), this event is another chance to get down to some funky grooves from three of the festival’s top live-instrumental-electronic-fusion-dance bands. Each of these bands base their roots and style in indigenous sounds, multi-layered grooves, percussion and melodic rhythms.
