If you were hoping for an exciting new entry to the Australian festival scene in 2010, this may very well be it. ITM can confirm that the Creamfields brand will be coming to Australia for the very first time between the 1st and 8th of May, and it’ll be brought to us by Hardware and Onelove, the crew behind the massively successful Stereosonic tour.

Starting life in the UK in the early 90s, the very first Creamfields was held in Winchester in 1998, before shifting to Liverpool the following year and eventually relocating to its current home among the rolling hills in the nearby Halton. More than a decade in, and it continues to rank as one of the UK’s finest and most popular dance music festivals.

Creamfields has also proved one of the most successful brands to launch on the international market, staged in over 15 countries so far with the Argentina edition proving to be legendary, attracting 60,000 people every year. Next stop Australia!

Stay tuned to ITM for more info shortly! To get you in the mood, check out these photos from Creamfields 2009.

This a 2/3 days festival, so I don't think in Australia is going to be the same as in other countries. It's sad an awesome party that starts on a Friday night /Sat morning and ends on a Sunday morning to be converted to Future/Fuzzy times (11am to 11pm).
