With Bloc Party’s leader Kele Okereke forced to cancel his appearances over the New Years period, he’s just announced a couple of last-minute DJ shows for this weekend.
The UK four-piece is reportedly taking some time out from playing live following their headline slot at Splendour In The Grass last year, so this is a chance to get up-close-and-excitable with the frontman.
He’ll be stepping into the booth at small-scale Sydney and Melbourne clubs this weekend, and the sets are sure to be big on crowd-pleasers.
Kele DJs at the following venues:
Friday 29 January – Mercat Cross, Melbourne
Saturday 30 January – Kit & Kaboodle Supper Club, Sydney
