CALL OFF YOUR HUNT! THE FIRST ROUND LINEUP FOR WE LOVE SOUNDS HAS ARRIVED!

For six long years the We Love Sounds festival has filled that gaping hole in the Australian winter season with event after event of packed out party action set to the sounds of some of the world’s finest dance musicians, and in 2010 We Love Sounds will return for its seventh and biggest year yet.

Announced today by festival management Sounds and Finely Tuned, the heavyweight winter festival will make its big return to the Australian circuit for two weeks between June 4th and June 14th. Mark your calenders.

Whilst we’ll have to wait a little longer for the first lineup announcement (due to land on ITM this month) the Sounds folk hinted that “two of the world’s biggest electro labels” would be setting up shop at We Love Sounds alongside a trio of trance acts said to be in world’s “top 20”. We’re officially intrigued, and after 2009’s event brought out Armin Van Buuren, Guy Gerber and Chris Lake we’re expecting some very big things.

For a few educated guesses at who we think could potentially be here in 2010 and maybe at We Love Sounds take a look at our Most Wanted Tours countdown and place your bets!

I'm glad they're adding another stage for the sydney leg (outdoor tent for the main stage) after how quickly the armin arena filled up last year, be good to have the main stage not having capacity issues.

Let me guess. It'll definitely be Ed Banger. The other could either be Boys Noize Records, Fools Gold or Institubes. If Ed Banger were gonna come they would definitely bring Justice, Busy P, DJ Mehdi, SebastiAn, Breakbot, Club 75 could be thrown in there

that would be EPIC if ed banger had a stage - fingers crossed.... although it would surprise a few people though, as it was more trancey last year (except van helden who was awesome)...bring busy and the crew!!

Warehouse>WLS : Went to both lastyear and year before. Only thing WLS had over it lastyear was armin, but the production and organising was great.

A trio of trance acts would have to be Above and Beyond with their side kicks from their label Ajunabeats.
