The Gold Coast is finally catching up to Brisbane with plans all on for a super club to hit Surfers Paradise. The brainchild of Gold Coast developer Elvio Pugliese, the impending super club will be covering 1100sqm of space at 21 Orchid Avenue – you can compare the vast space this will be to Family’s Main Room of 800sqm!

While it’s currently impossible to see how that area can be marked out, a proposed slab connecting the laneway between 21 Orchid Avenue and Hollywood Showgirls will ensure the creation of this 1100sqm space. Plans also show the club will feature a geometric wall with waterfalls out the front with light shows, while inside will house a stage area for cabaret performances, two wet bars and a VIP lounge.

The club is geared towards high-end clientele, particularly high flyers from the soon-to-be-completed Hilton. It will certainly be interesting to see what music policy will be set in place!
