You have waited long enough, dearest ITMers. The first lineup announcement for Warehouse Winter Music Festival has landed in beat-busting glory, courtesy of Kicks Entertainment!
After carving up the closing slot at Foreshore last year to a pulsating sea of raised arms, The Bloody Beetroots are making their way back to Canberra. If you thought they couldn’t get any louder, they’re bringing their live band along, altogether known as The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77. ‘Manic’ is an understatement for the response to a rock-star set. This time they have all of the AIS Arena to fill, but with Warehouse’s biggest sound system to date and a newly constructed, three-dimensional super stage (we have no idea what that means either, but it sounds expensive), we predict it’ll be absolutely no problem for the insane Italian duo.
He of the Swedish House Mafia, Steve Angello, joins the lineup of mammoth internationals, and superstar trance producer from the Netherlands, Ferry Corsten will ensure the AIS Arena roof is thoroughly lifted off.
So here we are guys and dolls, the first lineup for Warehouse 2010. Stay tuned though, there’s heaps more to come!
